Connecting

This page offers options to connect with not only the NFCLYO, but online places and communities where you can connect with your faith through and with others.  Or, if your church is having a youth ministry event you want to open for all to attend, turn this concept around and connect others to your event.  See details below on how to get word out about your event.

If you know of any such places that are not listed here, contact the web servant to add them.

NFCLYO on Facebook

The NFCLYO has a page on Facebook!  Search for the Niagara Frontier Conference Lutheran Youth Organization and become a fan.  Connect with other fans, get NFCLYO updates via Facebook, and find out about and indicate your attendance at upcoming events, adding pictures after.

Organic Faith

Organic Faith is a new church community in Western New York.  Though designed primarily for young adults, Organic Faith has an online community as well where you can add your own page, connect with others there (not just young adults, but youth as well), interact and join in on faith discussions.  You can even create your own personal profile, blog entries and discussions centered around real faith issues.

Devos by Pastor Steve on Facebook

Pastor Steve Biegner of Zion Lutheran Church in Clarence Center, NY posts regular devo notes on his Facebook profile.  If you would like to receive these devo notes, become a friend of Pastor Steve on Facebook and look back often for these meaningful, real devos.

Connect others to your youth ministry event

The NFCLYO has three ways to promote your church's youth ministry event if you want to open up said event for all to attend:

  1. You can use this website: have a calendar entry and/or a web page added.
  2. Whats-UP@NFCLYO: you can use our monthly email newsletter (recommended option).
  3. NFCLYO Happenings: you can use our quarterly mailing that goes to all churches in the Niagara Frontier Conference.

Anything that you want to have posted on these three options must meet the following requirements:

  1. You must provide a description of your event, including: dates and times, locations, who the event is for (ex: junior high), any costs and registration requirements, and contact information.
  2. NEW!!!  You can now post an event that benefits your particular church!  We've had a "change of heart" on this: if your church isn't around anymore how can you have a youth ministry program happening?  So supporting your church supports us all!
  3. You must submit your event at least 1 month before the date of the event.  If you wish to post your event in our quarterly mailing, it must be submitted by these dates: Spring by February 1, Summer by May 1, Fall by August 1 and Winter by November 1.

Contact Rick, the NFCLYO Director of Youth Programming at (716) 465-1321 or at rick@nfclyo.org to start your posting process.
