Niagara Frontier Conference
Youth Ministry Network

The Niagara Frontier Conference Youth Ministry Network (NFCYMNet) is an offshoot of the ELCA Youth Ministry Network. Just as its ELCA church-wide entity, the NFCYMNet exists to support adult youth workers and youth ministry programs happening in churches in the Niagara Frontier Conference by:

offering regular opportunities for youth workers to gather for peer support, prayer and conversation
promoting and at times organizing training and educational opportunities for youth workers
one-on-one consultations with youth workers and churches looking for guidance and support
online connections through the ELCA Youth and Family Ministers in WNY Facebook group

The NFCYMNet gathers monthly at a local eatery or fun spot for connections, conversations, prayers, and support. It's completely informal, comfortable and a small-group setting. Come check it out!

Upcoming Youth Worker Training Opportunities

The ELCA has rolled out the "Practice Discipleship: The ELCA Youth Ministry Training Project"! This project comes in the form of local seminars, a series of online webinars, and is a part of the ELCA Youth Ministry Network Extravaganza...all geared towards equipping adult youth leaders for ministering with youth in today's society. It's also great preparation for the Youth Gathering, as that event is built on this project. Check out each opportunity listed by type of event...

Local Seminars

Local seminars are half-day workshops focusing on youth ministry training, with the latest updates on the ELCA 2012 Youth Gathering. Led by Pastor Justin Johnson and Rick Mollenkopf-Grill, these seminars are informal and for anyone in youth ministry...paid or volunteer...going to the 2012 Gathering or not.

Online Webinars

Online webinars are opportunities to gather with other adult Children, Youth and Family leaders in an online environment and to learn together about effective ministry with young people. Webinars are free and last 90 minutes, from 3:00-4:30 pm on Sunday afternoons. Dates and topics are:
