The 2010 Volleyball Marathon was another great success! Just some of the highlights:
184 youth and adults from across the NFCLYO attended...an all-time Volleyball Marathon record!
WIVB News 4 showed and ran pieces on their 7 am and 6 pm broadcasts on Saturday, March 20! See those pieces in a video montage by checking it out below...
8 trophies were awarded this year in a variety of categories! Check out the trophies and winners below...
2,524 Volunteer Hours were recorded!
Thanks to a partial match by the Erie County chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, we raised a total of $2,225.09 to be donated to Lutheran Charities and their mission of funding needed ministry services right here in Western New York!

"Zebra Award" (hardest working referee): Steph Wiechec, Grace Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda
Icebreaker Award (best effort getting to know others): Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Buffalo
"Ryan Miller Olympic Award" (best sportsmanship on and off the court): St. Nicodemus Lutheran Church, Marilla
"Matthew 19:30" Award (the last being first...proving that being there counts most): St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Eggertsville
Top Fundraising church: St. John's Lutheran Church, Lancaster
Lutheran Charities award: $2,225.09 was raised!
Thank you to all those who helped with planning and leading this event, and especially all that came and made it such a success!
