About this event

NFCLYO's Winter Day Out is - simply put - outdoor fun in the snow! This is an mid-afternoon to early-evening event (around 5 hours total) from 2:30-8:00 pm on Sunday, January 29 (the week before Super Bowl Sunday). We head to the Colden Tubing Company (a part of the Kissing Bridge Ski Resort) in Glenwood, which features a multi-lane, 10-story high tubing hill. We tube from 3-6 pm, then head indoors for a pizza-wings buffet from 6-7 pm, wrapping up this event with a worship experience planned and led by the NFCLYO CORE Team from 7-8 pm.

This event is for all in grades 6-12 and adult chaperones.

THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO 75 PARTICIPANTS...ORDER YOUR TICKETS EARLY TO GET IN!!!

Costs (for all youth and adult participants):
Tubing AND Dinner: $20
Tubing ONLY (no dinner): $15
Dinner ONLY (no tubing): $10

Note: discounts apply ONLY to youth siblings participating in Tubing AND Dinner...they don't apply to "ONLY" options.

Note: for those adult chaperones who do not wish to tube, there is a small warming trailer on site at the tubing hill with seating overlooking a portion of the area.

Our continuous food drive rolls on for the Resurrection Lutheran Church food pantry on Buffalo's East Side. But this time we are collecting rolls of toilet paper! It's just as much as a need as food, and doesn't freeze. So bring all the rolls you can to add to the Toilet Paper Castle so we can T.P. the F.P.!!!

Glad you're coming! Typically people attend NFCLYO events with a church group. A church group is a group with enough adult chaperones to have 1 adult for every 9 youth attending with your group. For groups attending:

Make Reservations: Adult leaders need to make a reservation for your group. Get a count of all that are attending according to the Group Reservation Order Form, enter your info, and pay the amount due in full to reserve your group. Sorry, there are no refunds (unless weather conditions prevent this event from happening).
Everyone Must Register: Each person attending this event (youth and adult) needs to complete an individual registration form. Make sure all attending know this, and either get them a paper copy or direct them where to go online to complete a form (see below). Once you complete and sign a registration form, and submit or turn it in, we keep them on file and they're good for every other NFCLYO event this year.
Stay Updated: Check back for any event updates...otherwise see you there! Registration for this event begins at 2:30 pm, please do not arrive before this time...we will not be ready for you. Likewise, please try not to be late.
Help Feed Others: There will be a collection area at the registration table for donations to the Resurrection Food Pantry.

BE READY FOR THE WEATHER!
Be sure to dress for weather conditions before coming! Likewise, check driving conditions along your entire route and allow enough time to adjust for any road conditions. If conditions are too severe, we will contact the number listed on your reservation form in case of any postponements or cancellations, and arrange for any refunds if able.
